Muktadhara Foundation Inc., a sister organization of Muktadhara, Inc., works with the Bangladeshi community in New York on arts, culture, and ethnic awareness.

Since 1991, the Muktadhara Foundation, New York, has been involved in promoting Bangla culture and literature in the USA. Since 1992, it has been organizing Ekushey (February 21) in front of the United Nations. Muktadhara has played an important role in UNESCO’s declaration of February 21 as  “International Mother Language Day.” The organization has dispatched Bangla books to many libraries in the United States. Muktadhara, established in 1992, has been actively promoting Bangla culture through various initiatives. These include organizing book fairs, cultural programs, and film festivals that showcase the rich heritage of Bangladesh and West Bengal, India. Muktadhara’s primary focus is on nurturing the second-generation Bangladeshi community by providing literary and cultural programs tailored for children and youth.

Over the years, the foundation has organized book fairs and Bangla cultural programs in Los Angeles, Dallas, and New Jersey.
