Weekly Thikana (ঠিকানা) is a Bangladeshi community newspaper published and printed in New York City, USA. The newspaper has been serving the Bangladeshi immigrant community since 1990 and is one of the earliest Bangla newspapers. Weekly Thikana is printed exclusively in the Bangla language. It prints domestic news of Bangladesh and international news, sports, politics, art, culture, literature, science, religion, editorials, and columns with particular emphasis on Bangladesh. Advertisements can published at an affordable rate.
The newspaper is available in several states of the USA. Weekly Thikana is distributed primarily through Bangladeshi grocery stores, newsstands, and by mail subscriptions. The newspaper can be found in Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, and some neighborhoods in New Jersey. Unlike most Bangladeshi newspapers in New York, Thikana is not free.
