South Jersey Metro Awami League is a wing organization of Bangladesh Awami League in South New Jersey. The group is one of many political groups that supports the policy and activities of Bangladesh Awami League. The group organizes and celebrates important events related with Bangladesh and Bangladesh Awami League. Events like Bangladesh Independence Day, Bangladesh Victory Day, Bangla Language day, Returning of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to Bangladesh, Birthday of Sheikh Hasina etc. are celebrated every year. Political discussion meeting and cultural programs are also held.
South Jersey Metro Awami League is also welcomes and gives reception to Awami League leaders when they visit USA.
