Vision Statement:
To promote and uphold Bangladesh and its history, culture, social, religious and moral values by undertaking welfare and development programs.
The association has organized many religious, cultural, and social events for community members in conjunction with religious holidays and during visits from Bangladeshi clergy. In 1996, Bangladesh Christian Association proudly published its first annual magazine “Prottasha” (Hope); the association continues to publish the magazine annually. In 1997, the association took the initiative and formed a credit union in the name of Bangladesh Christian Cooperative Society that is serving the society as well.
Through the effort, time, and talent of its many dedicated members, the Bangladesh Christian Association has come a long way in America; it also helped the ministries of the Catholic Church in Bangladesh.
The community must continue to work together and strengthen the Bangali Christian community. Moving forward with a clear vision for a better future will help the next generation blend Bangali culture with the American way of life. As the Bangladesh Christian Association teaches the children about their religious and cultural roots, the association can aspire to another decade of dedicated service for the community in USA and Bangladesh.
