Bangla Television Canada was launched in 2006 to provide news, views, entertainment and information to Bangladeshi community living in Canada. Based in Toronto, its principal audience is Bangla speaking community of Bangladesh and India. All of its programs are in Bangla with concentration on musical programming.
Bangla Television Canada is a Toronto based Canadian Television production company in Bengali language. The goal of Bangla Television Canada is to present the Bengali culture and language through the mainstream Television Media in Canada. Most of the programs of Bangla TV Canada are carried by Rogers Cable on 10, 63 and 182 channels. The programs are a 30 minutes, bi-weekly show. The program showcase talented Bangla speaking individuals like singers, dancers, poets, writers, journalists, etc.
