Bangladesh Association of Greater Kansas City (BAGKC) is a not-for-profit cultural organization of Bangladeshi community in the greater Kansas City Area, USA. The association was created in 2011 to practice, promote and celebrate Bangladeshi heritage in Kansas and make a link between the Bangladeshi culture and the mainstream American culture. BAGKC is particularly eager to introduce Bangladeshi culture to new generation of Bangladeshi-American children.
Activities of Bangladesh Association of Greater Kansas City:
- Celebrate Bangladeshi culture with all communities
- Organize events that represent and celebrate Bangladeshi national festivals
- Help the newly arrived students from Bangladesh to get settled in Kansas area
- Connect community with American multiculturalism
- Encourage volunteering work among the Bangladeshi community
