Bangladesh Association of Guelph is a registered not-for-profit, non-political, sociocultural charitable organization of Bangladeshi community in Guelph – a city in southwestern Ontario, Canada. The Association promotes peace, friendship, hope, unity, prosperity and awareness of Bangladeshi art and culture among the wider Canadian communities. The organization is run by an elected officials consists of 15 members.
Established in 2007, Bangladesh Association of Guelph has following objectives:
- To promote awareness of Bangladeshi art and culture among the wider Canadian communities.
- To take part in volunteer, social and community activities organized by City and Province.
- To promote peace, understanding and friendship among different communities in Canada.
- To provide assistance to the new immigrants from Bangladesh and help them to assimilate into the broader society of Canada.
- To put forward Bangla language and literature to new generation of Bangladeshi children.
