Purbo Poshchim is a Bangla online magazine portal for the Bangladeshi community living in Canada. It is a publication of Deshi Television, Inc. and a part of Shuprioti Innovations, Inc. Purbo Poshchim’s venture started in 2016. The magazine is published monthly as a PDF document and uploaded for distribution. The media is published in Bangla. Topics include literature, culture, fashion, food, history, etc. The objective of Purbo Poshchim is to build a genuine bridge between the East and the West by linking the cultural heritage of the two cultures. The aim is to expand the horizon of the Bangladeshi community by constantly keeping in touch with both Bangladesh and Canada. Purbo Poshchim (East-West) allows the next generation of Bangladeshis, especially those who live abroad, to grow together by reflecting Bangladeshi culture, literature, fine arts, paintings, music, poetry, etc.
