Islamic Foundation of NJ – Masjid Jalalabad is a Islamic center and mosque of Bangladeshi community of Paterson, New Jersey. The center was founded in late 70’s, and is one of the most visited mosque for Bangladeshi and Muslim community members. Islamic Foundation of NJ – Masjid Jalalabad provides its services both in English and in Bangla language. The mosque runs daily prayers, Friday special Jummah prayer, Arabic school of Kids every Saturday and Sunday to learn Quran and Islamic education. The foundation runs Darul Uloom New Jersey – an Islamic education center for Bangladeshi kids.
- Funeral Service: Masjid Jalalabad also has funeral service for diseased soul in proper Islamic way. From making ghusl, arranging prayer to burial at the cemetary can be done. The foiundation uses Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa, NJ.
- Marriage Service: Islamic marriage (Nikah) Ceremony & Marriage Counseling by Imam
- Spiritual Consultation: Spiritual advice, explanation of Islamic law, religious consultation are provided by the Imam
