Prottasha Care Inc. is a Brooklyn-based home health care service for Bangladeshi adults in New York City. It was founded in 2022 to meet the growing demand for health care in the Bangladeshi community and offer high-quality care. The company’s staff are fluent in Bangla, understand and speak regional dialects, and understand the cultural needs of the Bangladeshi community. Prottasha Care offers two types of services: CDPAP and HHA.
- CDPAP is a Medicaid program that provides services to chronically ill or physically disabled individuals who need help with activities of daily living (ADLs) or skilled nursing services. Recipients have flexibility in choosing their caregivers.
- HHA stands for Home Health Aide. HHAs are certified to provide personal care services such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and assistance with mobility. They can also help with daily living (ADLs), such as eating, bathing, toileting, grooming, and transferring.
