Founded in 2018, the U.S. Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (USBCCI) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(6) organization that connects businesses in the United States and Bangladesh. The Chamber is dedicated to strengthening ties between the two countries and fostering an entrepreneurial environment where Bangladeshi-owned firms can thrive. The Chamber welcomes firms of all sizes, including manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, professional and business service providers, venture capitalists, investment bankers, and R&D scientists.
Activities of USBCCI
- Provide advisory services to businesses and investors looking to expand into Bangladesh or the United States.
- Coordinate with both countries’ government agencies to remove trade and investment barriers.
- Promote cultural exchange and understanding between Bangladesh and the United States.
- Gather and disseminate market and economic information about Bangladesh
- Organize events and forums to facilitate business networking and collaboration
- Represent the interests of Chamber members to government officials in both countries
Membership Level and Annual Fee
U.S. Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (USBCCI) has four levels of membership: Corporate, General, Honorary, and Individual.
- Corporate Membership: This is for Bangladeshi companies doing business in the USA. Membership fee is $500.
- General Membership: This membership is for individuals actively engaged with Bangladeshi-owned businesses, firms, associations, corporations, partnerships, or estates. The fee is $300.
- Honorary Membership: This membership is for individuals who have distinguished themselves in the public arena related to Bangladesh. The fee is $200.
- Individual Membership: This is for individuals not actively engaged in their own business. It includes all the rights and privileges of regular members. The membership fee is $100.
