Bangladesh Business Council of Dubai is a non-profit organization established in October 2011. A group of businessmen formed a business council to bridge the gap in Bangladesh’s business community. The council is licensed by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry. It is the only recognized representative organization of the Bangladesh business community in Dubai. The business community envisions the council as a platform to highlight the potential of doing business in the U.A.E. The registered members play a crucial role for new entrepreneurs in Dubai. The events allow the businessmen to promote their self. The council actively encourages Bangladeshi companies and entrepreneurs to have dynamic business operations in the U.A.E. The council consists of an Executive Committee that plans activities and events for the members to stimulate communication and broaden their business knowledge.
The Bangladesh Business Council of Dubai (BBC) functions under the auspices of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The BBC represents Bangladeshi business interests in Dubai and the Northern Emirates while maintaining strong ties with the leadership of the communities in which our members live and work.
The Council comprises members from all sectors of business and industry who elect a board of directors annually. This board of directors is responsible for the organization’s strategic vision and assuring strong alliances with Bangladeshi and UAE government officials, giving a more excellent voice to the membership.
The BBC holds monthly meetings, luncheons, and events, allowing for networking and collaboration among members and providing valuable information.
Objectives
- To promote Bangladesh’s commercial & Business interests in the UAE and encourage economic and commercial activities, investments, and other initiatives between Bangladesh and the UAE.
- To offer Bangladesh Business Council members a platform to exchange information and experiences and communicate and interact with public and private entities and persons in the UAE through meetings, gatherings, seminars, conferences, receptions, etc.
- To encourage mutual awareness, exchange of information, and cultural cooperation between the UAE and Bangladesh.
- To contribute to developing dual and mutual commercial, economic culture, technical, sports, and cultural relationships between Bangladesh and the UAE.
