Bangladesh Business Chamber of Canada (BBCC) aims to foster stronger business relationships and friendship between Bangladesh and Canada. It facilitates trade, investment, and networking opportunities between businesses in both countries.
Objectives of Bangladesh Business Chamber of Canada:
- Unity and Representation: The BBCC serves as a unified voice for Bangladeshi businesses in Canada.
- Networking and Information Exchange: It provides a platform for Bangladeshi business people to connect, share information, and explore new opportunities.
- Trade and Investment Promotion: The BBCC promotes trade and investment between Bangladesh and Canada through events like seminars, trade fairs, and matchmaking meetings.
- Policy Advocacy: It advocates for policies that support business growth and development in both countries.
- Community Engagement: The BBCC participates in community development and humanitarian activities.
- Collaboration: It collaborates with other organizations to enhance trade and investment.
Membership Eligibility:
Open to individuals and corporations from Bangladesh, Canada, or any other country who support the BBCC’s objectives.
Corporate Membership:
Available to corporations operating in Canada or Bangladesh.
Must have Bangladeshi ownership or senior management.
Each corporate member can nominate one senior manager to represent them in the Chamber.
Member Rights and Privileges:
Voting Rights: Members and Corporate Nominees can vote at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM).
Board Nominations: Members can seek nominations for Board positions, but only General Members can run for President, Vice President, General Secretary, and Treasurer.
Benefits: Members enjoy the perks and privileges the BBCC offers, as announced by the Board.
