Bangladeshi American Advocacy Group (BAAG) was founded in 2011 by a group of Bangladeshi Immigrants who wanted to empower the Bangladeshi American community. The purpose of BAAG is to give Bangladeshi Americans a voice and to encourage them to demand equal political rights and to raise their quality of life. BAAG hopes to achieve these goals by communicating the Bangladeshi American community’s political and social concerns to various federal, state, and local elected officials.
The Bangladeshi American Advocacy Group (BAAG) is a not-for-profit organization that seeks to give a voice to the Bangladeshi Americans living throughout the state of New York. BAAG’s primary mission is to bring social and political equality to improve the quality of life of Bangladeshi Americans.

- Help Bangladeshi community to understand their rights
- Help Bangladeshi community organize legislative tours to Albany
- Help Bangladeshi community to register to vote
- Help Bangladeshi community to lobby and arrange meetings with state officials
- Organize seminars about knowing your rights and fighting for your rights, etc.
