Bangla Institute of Performing Arts and Media (BIPAM) was founded in Dallas, Texas, in 2009 as a Bangla theater organization. It is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation registered in Texas and operates exclusively for public or educational purposes. BIPAM’s mission is to promote, develop, and enrich the multicultural heritage of North America by introducing and fostering the richness and vastness of Bangla performing arts and culture. This aims to create a diverse cultural community that offers performing arts performances, training, and education opportunities for all. BIPAM organizes and produces Bangla musical and theatrical performances on stage, collaborates with organizations that share similar views and strives to organize Bangla cultural events for audiences across North America.

Since its inception, BIPAM has produced and organized numerous critically acclaimed musical and theatrical presentations and cultural events in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. BIPAM is a non-profit organization with no membership requirements. It welcomes anyone interested in Bangla performing arts, culture, and heritage to join and contribute to its mission.

Aims of Bangla Institute of Performing Arts and Media (BIPAM)

  1. To promote, develop, and enrich the multicultural heritage of North America by introducing and fostering Bangla performing arts and culture.
  2. To produce and present Bangla theater, music, and dance performances for all audiences.
  3. To produce documentary films and videos to stimulate, preserve, and support the work of Bangla-speaking Americans in the fine arts, literature, and performing arts.
  4. To produce and broadcast Bangla radio programs for all audiences to promote Bangla arts, culture, and artists in multicultural communities across America.
  5. To promote and produce independent feature films of artistic merit for audiences worldwide.
  6. To promote global cross-cultural exchange through performing arts, bridge country gaps, foster peace, unity, and development. This is achieved through international tours, film festivals, workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  7. To establish connections and affiliations with organizations that share similar visions and goals in North America and internationally.
