Bangladeshi American Association of Connecticut (BAAC) is a non-profit, voluntary, nonpolitical, and secular forum organized exclusively for cultural, educational, and charitable purposes. It qualifies under Section 501 (c) of the Internal Revenue Code or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. Founded in 2005, the organization is committed to sustaining and promoting Bangladeshi culture and heritage, supporting society, and reinforcing the future generation with meaningful values. BAAC strives to keep Bangladeshi rich culture and heritage alive through various cultural festivals and various activities throughout the year.

Membership

Bangladeshi Americans working or living in Connecticut are eligible for the General Membership. As the primary members of the Association, they have the right to participate in all activities of the organization. They are eligible to vote and contest the election. General Members are the supreme authority to do anything for the Association—membership Fee: $20 for two years.
