The World Human Rights & Development (WHRD) is a New York City-based not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering Bangladeshi immigrants. Founded in 1997, WHRD fights for essential needs like education, healthcare, and legal support for vulnerable people. WHRD works primarily within the Bangladeshi community living in New York City.
Focus Areas for World Human Rights & Development:
- Organizes social and cultural events to foster a sense of belonging and celebrate Bangladeshi heritage.
