Elizabeth M. Barna, Esq., a graduate of the George Washington University, and NY Law School is a solo practitioner in New York City. She practices all aspects of immigration law. She currently serves as Vice-Chair of the New York Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She is a member of and has served on several committees of NY AILA, having twice chaired its Asylum/Executive Office for Immigration Review/Office of the Chief Counsel Committee. She has also served on AILA National’s Asylum Committee. She currently serves as an asylum mentor for AILA’s more than 10,000 members and participates in its National Citizenship Day as well as many other AILA pro bono and other projects. She is a member of the NYC Bar Association Immigration and Nationality Law Committee.
