UMA Disability Center is a non-profit organization, located in New York City. Since 1999, the primary aim of UMA Disability Center is to provide assistance to disabled persons of all ethnic background. Although the center mostly experienced in dealing with South Asian immigrants including Bangladeshi community. The center has been serving Bangladeshi community in two locations – New York and Pennsylvania. The center charges no fees unless they are successful in their effort, although an initial deposit is required.
UMA Disability Center helps clients in following areas:
- State Disability (TANF)
- Federal Disability (SSI, SSDI)
- Citizenship without Exam (N-648 Waiver)
