Sukhi New York is a not-for-profit for South Asian community (Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Tibbet, Pakistan etc.) in New York. The organization works closely with local council members, politicians, community leaders and organizations to make a difference and improve the living conditions of South Asian people through social and economic activities.
Sukhi New York works primarily in Jackson Heights and Woodside neighborhood of New York where South Asian community is predominant. The organization helps community members to organize their respective events, assists local businesses to run smoothly by cleaning up streets, creates a upbeat healthy and respectful multicultural atmosphere in the neighborhood.
