The Bangladesh Student Association at Purdue University serves the best interests of Bangladeshi students studying at Purdue University, Indiana. Its purpose is to nurture and nourish the culture and heritage of Bangladesh through various events and programs, which, on the other hand, help familiarize Bangladesh with the diverse Purdue community.
The aim and purpose of the association is to
- represent Bangladesh and its cultures,
- cultivate a sense of community among Bangladeshi students at Purdue University
- serve the interests of Bangladeshi students at Purdue University
- identify the needs and concerns of Bangladeshi students and take responsive action beneficial to the Bangladeshi community
- nurture the academic, professional, and social growth and welfare of its members, and
- enhance the awareness of Bangladesh and Bangladeshi issues in the Purdue University community.
Bangladesh Student Association at Purdue University activities:
- Organize fundraising campaigns to help the poor people in Bangladesh who are affected by winter.
- Organize events related to Bangladesh and Bangladeshi cultural, language, and national events.
- Organize sports, such as badminton, chess, etc.
- Organize picnic and outdoor events.
