Bangladeshi-American Community Council (BACC) is a Bangladeshi organization based in the Bronx, New York. The organization, a not-for-profit organization, provides various services to the Bangladeshi immigrant community, such as immigration, legal, tax filing, general counseling, etc.
BACC provides health and nutrition workshops, free legal clinics, information sessions about living the American dream, etc., for Bangladeshi immigrants. Its activities target assimilating New Bangladeshi arrivals and settlers in the Bronx into American culture.
Bangladeshi-American Community Council keeps a close tie with local council members and offices to avail any facilities the Bangladeshi community needs. The organization also motivates Bangladeshis to register and vote in local and national elections.
The organization also emphasizes and maintains a peaceful, respectful coexistence among Bangladeshi organizations as well as the multicultural communities of New York.
