Bolaka Welfare Associates New York, Inc. is a non-political and not-for-profit organization of Bangladeshi origin. It was established in 2011 to promote social welfare, dynamic partnership, develop quality and effectiveness of its members. Most of the members are Bangladeshi taxi drivers in New York City. The association is run by elected members. Other activities include annual picnic and Iftar party for its members and their families.
