Bangla Street Festival/Pothomela 2024 – Jamaica Bangladesh Friends Society

FreeJamaica Bangladesh Friends Society will organize a Bangla Street Festival (Pothomela) in Jamaica, Queens, New York. Local Bangladeshi singers, artists, and performers will entertain the attendees. The Bangladeshi business community will sponsor the event, and Bangladeshi media companies will act as media partners.
Many vendors will offer traditional Bangladeshi food, clothing, jewelry, toys, etc. From 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm, a more conventional Bangladeshi delicacy, ‘Panta Vhat Illish’ (Fermented rice with Hilsha Fish), will be a significant attraction.
The event is free and open to all.
