Bangladesh Independence Day Celebration 2024

In Search of Root Foundation, a Bangladeshi community organization, will organize the Bangladesh Independence Day 2024 celebration in Jackson Heights, Queens, in cooperation with Muktadhara, New York.
Programs:
- Drawing Competition for Children
Ages 4-7: Bangladesh National Flag/National Monument
Ages 8-11: Bongobondhu and portraits of four national leaders
Ages 12-18: Liberation War on the battlefield - Rhyme & Poetry Competition for Children
Ages 4-8: Liberation War Rhyme
Ages 9-16: Liberation War Poetry - Sangeet Parishad, Bonhishikha Sangit Niketon, and Rabindra Academy of USA will entertain the audience with Bangla music.
- Bangla books on the Bangladesh liberation war will be available for sale.
- Freedom Fighters Reminiscences of Bangladesh Liberation War
The event is free and open to all.
