Banglar Pitha Utshob

Banglar Pitha Utshob (বাংলার পিঠা উত্সব), 2015, … to promote and maintain the traditional pitha (rice cake) making culture of Bangladesh, organized by Parents Club. Music, live pitha making demonstration, children’s dance, art competition, singing, drawing, magic show, puthi (পুঁথি) reading, jari (জারি) song will be part of the program.
The event is free to attend. All are welcome with family and friends.
Culture program by Bangladesh Institute of Performing Arts (BIPA), Bonhishikha Sangit Niketon, Bangladesh Cultural Society of North America, Swarlipi, Bangladesh Academy of Fine Arts (BAFA), City College Cultural Group. Solo performance by local Bangladeshi artists.
