Durga Puja – New York, 2014

Durga Puja, (দূর্গা পূজা) aka, Durgotsava or Sharadotsav for the year of 2014 will be held from September 30th to October 3rd, 2014. The event is organized by North America Hindu Kalyan Parishad, Inc. The venue is located between 153 St. and Parsons Blvd.

Devir Bodhon & Shashthi Puja: 10:00 am – 12:00 noon
Anjali: 12:00 noon – 6:00 pm
Aarati and cultural program:  7:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Wednesday, October 01, 2014:

Maha Ashtami & Sandhi Puja: 8:00 am – 10:00 am
Anjali: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Aarati & Cultural Event: 7:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Thursday, October 02, 2014:

Maha Saptami Puja: 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Anjali: 11:00 am – 6:00 pm
Aarati & Cultural Event: 7:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Friday, October 03, 2014:

Maha Navami Puja: 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
Doshomi Bihit Puja: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Anjali: 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Arabi & Cultural Event: 8:00 pm – 12:00 midnight

Everyday there will be prasad distribution, arati. All are welcome with family, friends and acquaintances.
