Ekushey February 2025 – Bangladesh Society

Bangladesh Society will organize the Ekushey event in Jackson Heights, New York, in February 2025. This event will commemorate International Mother Language Day and serve as a platform to celebrate the Bangla language and culture.

Various Bangladeshi community organizations will attend the event. At midnight, 12:01 a.m. (Feb 21), they will display the wrath of flowers to show respect and commemorate Ekushey. A full-color magazine will be printed and distributed to the attendees. Local Bangladeshi community newspapers, TV, and media outlets will broadcast the event.

Bangla school students will perform a colorful cultural program. Bangladeshi children aged 4 to 9 and 10 to 15 will participate in drawing and poetry recitation competitions at the designated venue.
