Federation of Bangladeshi Associations in North America (FOBANA) Convention 2023
September 1, 2023 @ 4:00 pm - September 3, 2023 @ 7:00 pm
The 37th annual convention of the Federation of Bangladeshi Associations in North America (FOBANA) will be held in Dallas, Texas, from September 1-3, 2023. The convention is the largest gathering of Bangladeshis living in North America, and it is an excellent opportunity for people to connect with their culture and heritage. This year’s local convention host is the Bangladesh Association of North Texas (BANT). The convention will feature various cultural performances, business workshops, and networking opportunities. There will also be a children’s corner with activities for all ages.
Entrance to the convention is $50 for adults and free for children under 10. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
The convention is a great way to learn about Bangladeshi culture, meet new people, and network with other Bangladeshis living in North America.
Local Bangladeshi American artists and performers will entertain attendees at the three-day convention. The event will also feature discussions, seminars, a film festival, children’s events, a youth forum, a women’s empowerment workshop, a talent show, an art exhibition, and scholarship distribution.
A full-color magazine will be published as a souvenir, featuring information about the event and businesses involved. The convention will also host Miss FOBANA, Dance IDOL, and Music IDOL competitions for Bangladeshi-American children.
nTV, ATN, myTV, News24, BanglaPress, and other Bangladeshi-American news outlets will serve as media partners for the convention. Steering and host committee members will be on hand to ensure the event’s smooth operation.
