Know Your Rights on Immigration Policies in Bangla Language. Organized by Queens Public Library, Know Your Rights Workshops are designed to inform and empower all individuals with information and education on their rights and how to exercise them. The workshop informs participants about:
- Learn your rights during interactions with ICE or law enforcement.
- Discover how to find trusted legal assistance and avoid immigration scams.
- Understand your rights as a renter, including protections against eviction, unsafe living conditions, and discrimination.
- Explore workplace safety standards and protections from harassment or exploitation.
The event is in-person, free, and open to all. At the end, there will be a QA session.
