Award

The organizers will stage the Bangla Cine Award for the second time this year. The event in April was cancelled at the last moment for internal organizational conflict.

Bangla Cine Award will be jointly organized by Deshi Telegraph and BNS Logistics, for Bangladeshi origin TV, movie and music personalities. The event is to entertain Bangladeshi community living in New York City. Music, dance, comedy etc. will be performed by local and visiting Bangladeshi artists. Award will be given to visiting movie personalities for their work.

$30, $45, $55, VIP and ELITE level, available at Kupferberg Center box office at the day of the event.

Dallywood Film and Music Awards 2016 will be organized by Bangladeshi community living in New York City. Local and visiting artists from Bangladeshi will take part at the event. Awards will be given to Bangladeshi artists at the event for their contribution in movie and music. Live solo, duel, band music will be performed.  The event is sponsored by Bangladeshi businesses based in New York.

Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRB) Award 2015 is a Bangladeshi award event organize to give award to Bangladeshi artists for their talents. This award is given by some Non-Resident Bangladeshi sponsors. Music, dance, fashion parade etc are part of the event. It is free and all are welcome.

Orientation & Quiz Reward Event of Technosoft will be held at Jackson Heights, New York. There are three parts of this event:

Free orientation: to introduce IT job training and placement services provided by Technosoft. Program includes job opportunity, career planning, skill-set development techniques, hiring process in the industry, networking etc.

Quiz Reward: result of quiz competition will be declared and awarded. All winner of the quiz competition must present at the event to get the Reward.

Raffle draw will held for further discount for training at 40%, 60% and 100% discount rate.

Bangla Cine Award will be given at a ceremony in New York.

The aim of the Bangla Cine Award is to make Bangladeshi cinema popular and available abroad – specially in the USA where a large number of non-resident Bangladeshis live. The hope is that one day Bangla Cinema will win minds and hearts of Bangladeshis living abroad. Other objectives are to explore the possibility to export Bangladeshi movie in USA and to improve Bangladeshi cinema up-to an international standard.

Initially 18 cinemas from Bangladesh will complete in 25 categories for Bangla Cine Award. Many artists and Bangla cinema experts from Bangladesh will attend the ceremony. Several ministers and media personalities will come to take part the event.
