Bangladesh Association of Atlantic County will celebrate Bioshakhi Bangladesh Mela in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The event will attended by Bangladeshi Atlantic City, Ventnor City, and surrounding areas. The event will be celebrated with music, dance, recitation, puthi (rythmatic reading), etc. vendor will display and sell their products – clothing, jewelry, boutique, Bangladeshi snacks, pitha (Bangladeshi cake), etc.

Bangladesh Folk Festival in Jamaica, New York

To celebrate Bangla New Year of 1424, Jamaica Bangladesh Friends Society will organize a Bangladesh Folk Festival in Jamaica, Queens. The event will showcase the tradition of rural and urban Bangladesh with cultural events. Local Bangladeshi performers, musicians, singers will entertain the crowd. Vendors will sell products, Bangladeshi businesses and City organization’s will provide information about their services. Various Bangladeshi community and cultural organizations will also participate to showcase their talents.

Boishakhi Celebration, New York

Boishakhi Celebration, New York will be organized by Bangladesh Society in Queens, New York for Bangladeshi community. Members of the community will buy and sell Bangladeshi food and products. The event will be observed with traditional Bangladeshi food and cultural program. Vendors will furnish their stalls with clothing, jewelry, toys and other products. Lucky winners of Raffle draw can get Diamond Ring, NY-Dhaka-NY airline ticket, laptop, iPhone, tablet and other prizes. A traditional parade will be held at the Diversity Plaza at 4:00 pm. Children and adults can wear their traditional Bangladeshi dresses. The event is free and open to all.

Michigan Bangla Mela 2016. The event is to celebrate Boishak or Bangla New Year by Bangladeshi community living in Detroit, Michigan. The program starts at 5:30 pm. Music, instrument performed by local Bangladeshi artists. Dance and fashion show by attractive models. Lots of great fun for kids (face painting, recitation), raffle draw for adult, food for all.
