Mask Making for Bangla New Year 2018 will be jointly organized by Bangladesh Institute of Performing Arts (BIPA) and The Singing Winds. The entrance is free. Adults and children will participate in designing and making of masks to celebrate Bangla New Year (Boishakhi).

To celebrate Bangla New Year of 1424, Jamaica Bangladesh Friends Society will organize a Bangladesh Folk Festival in Jamaica, Queens. The event will showcase the tradition of rural and urban Bangladesh with cultural events. Local Bangladeshi performers, musicians, singers will entertain the crowd. Vendors will sell products, Bangladeshi businesses and City organization’s will provide information about their services. Various Bangladeshi community and cultural organizations will also participate to showcase their talents.
Bangladesh Folk Festival is free to attend and open to all.
