Bangladesh Independence Day Health Seminar

Bangladesh Independence Day Health Seminar will be held in Brooklyn, New York for the Bangladeshi and other communities. The event is organized by SACO America (South Asian Community Care Organization, America). Attendees will be given health and nutrition information, health products will be displayed and questions will be answered. The event will also remember Independence Day of Bangladesh by awarding talented children and discussion. The event is free and all are welcome.

  • 4:00 – 6:00 pm – Program starts, welcome speech by guests, community activists, wellness presentation etc.
  • 6:00 – 7:30 pm – National Anthems of USA and Bangladesh, Remembering Bangladesh Independence Day, awards to students, nutrition presentation, product demonstrations and discusses, product display, spring water systems demo, health and fitness assessments, consultation and recommendations, FAQ and QA
  • 7:30 – 8:00 pm – SACO Brooklyn Chapter committee introduction, refreshments and food, ending.

Bangladesh Community Health Information

A discussion on Bangladesh Community Health Information will be held in Queens, New York. The aim of the meeting is to provide health related information (common health complains, health insurance enrollment etc.) to Bangladeshi community members. The event is organized by NYU Center for the Study of Asian American, Health (CSAAH). Finding of the information was collected from various projects of DREAM, REACH FAR, and other projects of NYU CSAAH. Participants can also share their health related experience and challenges.

The event is free, open to all and lunch will be served.
