Bangla Festival 2017

Bangla Festival 2017 will be held in Virginia on May 13-14. The two-day long event will celebrate Bangladeshi culture, tradition and heritage through various activities. Vendor stalls/booths are available at the Bangla Festival at an affordable price. The event is free and all are welcome to come.

The event will have events that will celebrate Charyapada, dance, documentary, drama, stage drama (Jatra), seminar, book fair, Baul song, songs of Nazrul Islam and Rabindranath Tagore, Mymensingh Geetika, native instrument play, poetry recitation, folk songs, etc.

Bangladesh Festival 2016

Bangladesh Festival 2016 will be held in Jackson Heights, New York. The event is organized by Udichi USA – a Bangladeshi cultural organization based in New York. The two-day event will start every day at 10:00 am and end at 11:00 pm. The event will celebrate Bangla and Bangladeshi culture with music, song, dance, drama, seminar, poetry, etc. Children’s art, music and Bangla essay writing competition will be held, souvenir will be published, stalls will sell food, cloths, book, CD etc.

The event is free and open to all.

International Bangla Festival & Book Fair 2016

International Bangla Festival & Book Fair 2016 (আন্তর্জাতিক বাংলা উৎসব ও বইমেলা) will be held in New York from May 20 to May 22. The three-day event will cover many facets of Bangladeshi culture practiced and celebrated by Bangladeshi community living in New York City. This year will mark festival’s 25th anniversary. The festival is generally organized by Muktadhara Foundation of New York.

The primary aim of the International Bangla Festival & Book Fair or (Boi Mela, in general) is to celebrate Bangladeshi culture and heritage among expatriate Bangladeshi community living in North America. The festival works as a platform for Bangladeshi diaspora to meet and greet and enjoy cultural entertainment with family and friends. Literary discussions, book reviews, poetry recitation, music, dance, folk drama, children’s program, youth discussion, book fair, photo exhibition are part of the three-day event. A colorful souvenir will be published to mark the occasion.

Many publishers, writers, poets, singers, and literary personalities are expected to join from Bangladesh and West Bengal of India. Books can be purchased from book vendors. Various kinds of events are planned to celebrate the fair.

A Bangla Utsob Parade will be held at Diversity Plaza of Jackson Heights at 5:00 pm on Friday, 20th. The event has no entrance fee and all programs are free for all.

BACDYS Small Business Summit & Multicultural Festival

BACDYS Small Business Summit & Multicultural Festival 2015 will be held from August 26th to August 28th in New York. The event is organized by BACDYS, Bangladeshi American Community Development and Youth Services, Inc. This the sixth year of the event. Local Bangladeshi businesses in USA, businesses from Bangladesh and other countries are invited to participate at the event. This is great opportunity for Bangladeshi businesses to establish contact, experience consumer base, open/expand/partner with businesses, and gain some international exposure. There will be several Bangladeshi media outlets – Mohona TV, SA TV, TBN24, ATN Bangla, and Millennium TV – in New York will cover the event. Ten thousand people are expected to come to enjoy the festival.

BACDYS Small Business Summit & Multicultural Festival 2015 will be a five day event of shopping, networking, business opportunity, experiencing diversity and tradition of Bangladesh. There will be carnival rides, live entertainment, concerts, food, fun, and family time.

All participating businesses must be registered in Bangladesh with Chamber of Commerce or licensed by the government to conduct export-oriented business. All participating company outside of the United States must complete this form to register. Registration fee is $1000. The registration fee are 100% tax-deductible for the USA businesses.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

Bangladesh Festival in Korea 2015

Bangladesh Festival in Korea 2015 for Bangladeshi community living a and working in Korea, The festical will be held in Ansan Wa Stadium. Food, cultural program, raffle draw, traditional Bangladeshi new year food (panta ilish), snacks, music will be part of the festival. The event will be held in cooperation with Bangladesh Embassy in South Korea and Kona Business Community. Carnival of Cultures 2015

Carnival of Cultures 2015 will be held in Jamaica, Queens on May 22-24. This 3-day event is celebration of Bangladeshi culture, tradition, and music for Bangladeshi and other communities in New York. The event is organized by Bangladeshi American Community Development & Youth Services (BACDYS).

The event includes live concert, music, food, shopping, award, and other fun. Mechanical rides for children and youth: Ferris Wheel, Round Up, Loop O Plane, Carousel, Car Ride, Chair Swing, Rock Out, Lady Bug, Air plain Slide.
