BCCDI Bangla School Boishakhi Mela : A day of fun, food, music, dance and other festivities to welcome and celebrate Bangla New Year. There will be stalls for shopping, eating and conversation. Bangla New Year by Bangladesh Community of Inland Empire

Boishakhi Mela and celebration of Bangla New Year by Bangladesh Community of Inland Empire. This is the first event of this kind by Bangladesh Community of Inland Empire in California. Come to enjoy Bangladeshi food and cultural program performed by local Bangladeshi artists. A small parade will be held.

Some food, clothing and jewelry stalls will be there for your shopping convenience.

Pohela Boishakh

Udichi School of Performing Arts, New York will celebrate Bangla New Year or Pohela Boishakh with food, music, dance and other cultural events. Home-made Boishakh food will be available. Aim of the program to encourage new generation of Bangladeshi Americans to participate and to learn about Bangladeshi culture.

Program includes Bangla speaking completion, dance, tabla, song, comedy sketch, etc. Suggested contribution for the event is $5.00

To celebrate Bangla New Year 1422, New American Women’s Forum of New York, New American Democratic Club and New American Youth Forum will organize Boishakhi Mela in Jamaica, New York. Book, CD, food, clothing, jewelry, toy stall will be there for participant’s shopping pleasure. Music, dance, fashion show, raffle draw etc. are part of the event.
