Bangladeshi Hindu community in New York will observe Sharodiya Durga Puja 2007 in Woodside, Queens. The festival will be attended by many devout Hindus as well as well-wishers. Religious events will be followed by cultural program performed by Bangladeshi and Indian artists – dance, music, poetry, hymn etc. The festival is open to all. This festival is organized by Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad New York.

Durga Puja 2017 – Woodside

Bangladeshi Hindu community in Woodisde will celebrate Durga Puja 2017. The event will start with Maha Shasthi on Sept 25th, Monday and will end on Sept 30th, Saturday. Arati, Geeta reading, Puja, cultural activities, prashad distribution, and other event will be held every day. The event is open to all. The festival is organized by Om Shakti Mandir.

Everyday: Anjali from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Arati at 6:00 pm and Prashad 2:00 pm to midnight.

Bangladeshi Hindu community in New York will participate in Annual Harinama Chanting 2017 in Queens on July 22nd and 23rd. The event is organized by American Bangali Hindu Foundation (ABHF). Holy Adhibas will held on Friday July 21 at 6:00 pm, Harinam Sangkirtan will start at 5:43 am (Sunrise) on Saturday July 22 and end on July 23rd at 8:19 pm (Sunset). All are welcome.
