Bangladeshi American Night 2024

Bangladeshi American Night 2024 will be held at Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre on Sunday, July 21st, 2024. Bangladeshi Heritage of NY of Nassau County organizes the event in collaboration with the Nassau County Executive Office & the Nassau County Park Department.

Bangladeshi food, clothes, jewelry, arts and crafts will be available. Bangladeshi cultural organizations (Priya Dance Academy, LIMS Bangla School), Bangladeshi singers and dancers will present a cultural program. You can bring a mat, a low lawn chair, playing cards, etc, to make your time at the event comfortable.

The event is free, family-friendly, and open to all. Free parking is available on the premises.

50 Years of Souls, a Bangladeshi Bangla Band Event

50 Years of Souls, a Bangladeshi Bangla band, will perform at the Mary Louis Academy. Souls, a Bangladeshi Bangla Rock band, was founded in Chittagong in 1973. Past and present band members will be present at the event and entertain the audience with their new and most popular songs.

The event is organized by Deshi Music and Entertainment NY and sponsored by Bangladeshi local businesses and media companies.

Runa Laila & Sabina Yasmin Music Concert 2017

Showtime Music will organize a joint concert of two visiting Bangladeshi singers – Runa Laila and Sabina Yasmin in Queens, New York City. Live in concert with Symphony Orchestra. Singers will sing their popular songs and also entertain the request from the audience. The event is presented by Utshob and sponsored by various local Bangladeshi businesses in Queens, Bronx and Brooklyn. Tickets are also available at the venue.

Dallywood Film & Music Awards 2017 will be given to performers and artists of Bangladeshi origin in New York. Local and visiting artists from Bangladeshi will perform at the event. Awards will be given to Bangladeshi artists at the event for their movie and music performance. Live solo, duel, band music will be performed. Bangladeshi-American Rapper Event

Bangladeshi-American Rapper Anik KhanQueens-based Bangladeshi-American rapper and hip-hop artist Anik Khan will be featured at an event organized by N(OCEANS). The event is to celebrate Asian/Pacific/American (APA) heritage month at the New York University.

Anik Khan uses his music to speak out for marginalized communities, most recently with his newly-released single, Columbus, which was written in response to Trump’s election and following Muslim ban. The event will create awareness and encourage dialogue amongst members of Bangladeshi as well as Asian community about the issues that face those around us on a a regular basis. The event wants to challenge attendees to look introspectively at the preconceived n(oceans) they hold about other ethnicities, religions and people but at the same time to acknowledge the beauty and suffering of immigrant families, of which many were forced to cross oceans to be in the USA.

Free concert organized by Hindu Council of North America in Jackson Heights, New York.
