Dr. Nina Ahmed is one of the members of President Obama’s 14-member advisory commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Ziauddin Ahmed, Roquia Haider (commonly misspelled as Rokeya Haider), Anis Rahman, M. N. Saheen, Shameem Ahsan and others will speak at Bangladeshis in Mainstream event.
