MUNA Convention 2023

The Muslim Ummah of North America (MUNA) Convention 2023 is a three-day event held from August 18 to August 20 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The convention will feature various speakers, including Islamic scholars, researchers, imams, and activists. The convention will also include:

  • Quran recitation competitions
  • Islamic-themed bazzar (booth and expo)
  • Children’s rides and activities
  • Islamic cultural entertainment
  • Women discussion forums
  • Youth sessions
  • Matrimonial matchmaking
  • Halal food
  • Health Clinic
  • In-house prayer service

Registration fee:

Couple: $150 (free for children under 5 years)
Family: $200 (up to 6 members)
Student/Senior: $70

Registration includes unlimited access to all main sessions, the bazaar area entrance, parallel sessions, sisters sessions, and youth sessions.

Registration does not include meals, hotels, Jump and Fun kid’s rides, babysitting, and parking.

Grand Reception For Bangladeshi Hajiis

A grand reception for Bangladeshi Hajii‘s will be held in Bronx, New York. Bangladeshi community associations will honor them for their religious achievement. A Dua Mahfil will also held on the occasion. The event is free and dinner will be served at the event.

Lokkhi Puja 2015

Lokkhi Puja/Lakshmi Puja will be celebrated by Bangladeshi Hindu community in New York. Lokkhi Puja is a Hindu religious festival for Hindu community that is celebrated every year just after Durga Puja.  Lokkhi or Lakshmi  is considered the Goddess of wealth, peace and prosperity.

Convention 2015 – Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist & Christian Unity Council (America)

Convention 2015 – Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist & Christian Unity Council (America) or Bangladesh Hindu Buddha Christian Oikya Parishad. The Convention will call for visiting central leaders of the organization from Bangladesh to act more on creating safe, secure and sound environment for minority communities in Bangladesh. The convention will also call for greater unity among Bangladeshi Hindu Buddhist & Christian community living in USA.

Bangladeshi Hindu community will celebrate Janmashtami Utsob in New York. The event will furnish children’s art competition, Krishnaleela (কৃষ্ণালীলা), Shondharoti (সন্ধ্যারতি), Bath of Gopal etc. Free proshad (প্রসাদ) will be distributed.

Janmasthamee & Parade 2015. All are welcome. The programs will start at 7:30 am with Kirton and Mongol deep, vajan, and puja. This is all day program. Geeta reading, drama, religious music, discussion, prasad distribution all are included. Programs for kids and young.
