Jackson Heights Bangladesh Mela will be held in Jackson Heights for Bangladeshi community in Queens. Vendors will showcase their Bangladeshi products, cloths, jewelry, food etc. A cultural program will entertain the crowd. Free and open to all. Jackson Heights Bangladesh Mela is sponsored by Bangladeshi businesses as well as American businesses that focus on Bangladeshi community in New York City.

Church McDonald Bangladesh Mela

Church McDonald Bangladesh Mela will be held in Brooklyn, New York. Bangladesh-American Friendship Society (BAFS) and 66 Precinct Community Council with the cooperation of Bangladeshi community in Brooklyn will organize the event. Raffle draw, music, shopping, food and lot of other fun. Local cultural performers of Bangladeshi origin will participate at the event. Family friendly, safe environment. A Bangla magazine with Bangladeshi business sponsorship will be published at the occasion. The event is free and all are welcome.

Royal Bengal Street Fair 2017

Bangladeshi Community of North Bronx will attend Royal Bengal Street Fair 2017 (Bangladeshi pothomela) – a day of outdoor shopping, music, conversation, family union, friendly talk and community congregation. The event is jointly organized by
 Bangladeshi-American Community Council and Bangladeshi Community of North Bronx. Bangladeshi products, Bangladeshi snacks, cultural program performed by local artists are the main attraction of the event. Bronx-based Bangladeshi businesses and businesses that serve Bangladeshi community are the sponsors of the event. Program also include rally, keynote speech, guest speech, raffle draw etc. Local elected council members, visiting guest from Bangladesh, community activists will participate at the event. The event is free and all are welcome.

JBBA Pothomela 2016 will be held in Jackson Heights, organized by Jackson Heights Bangladeshi Business Association (JBBA). Bangladeshi vendors will participate with various merchandise. A full color souvenir will be published for the occasion. Music will performed by Bangladeshi singers, raffle draw prizes are sponsored by Bangladeshi business community in New York. Prio Bangla Pothomela 2016

Prio Bangla Pothomela 2016 will be held in Virginia for Bangladeshi and communities curious about Bangladesh. The event is organized by Bangladeshi community but multicultural in nature. The event is organized by Prio Bangla – a Bangladeshi community organization to celebrate Bangladeshi culture in Washington DC, Virginia and surrounding areas. The Pothomela (street fair) is sponsored by some local Bangladeshi businesses. Food, cloth stalls for shopping, dance and live music for entertainment. Prio Bangla Potho Mela is free to attend. Multicultural Festival by BACDYS. Five-day Multicultural Festival will be held in Ozone Park, Brooklyn from Aug 17 to August 21. The event is the 6th annual event, organized by Bangladeshi American Community development and Youth Services (BACDYS), a nonprofit organization based in East New York, Brooklyn.
