Quickbooks, Excel & Career Development Workshops for Bangladeshi community. It is organized by Center for Human Development BD (CHD BD) and Youth Congress of Bangladeshi Americans (YCBA), Inc. The workshop will be held on Sundays, starting from August 30th to November 1st.

The aim of the workshop to teach QuickBooks – a leading accounting software and MS Excel – a leading spreadsheet software in 10 weeks. This is an entry level course. Basic ideas will be discussed. The workshop will also prepare participants for competitive job market of USA. The course will give trainees theoretical knowledge as well as some hands on practice.

The workshop is designed primarily for Bangladeshi community but open to all. The workshop is free  but registration is required.

Free Citizenship Application Assistance by Chhaya CDC

Free Citizenship Application Assistance by Chhaya CDC is a workshop for the people who needs help to apply for US Citizenship. The workshop will assist with eligibility check, filing out application form, fee waiver info and application (if qualified), consultation with immigration experts, if necessary etc.

Limited capacity, Registration/RSVP is required.

Bangla language assistance/speakers are available at the workshop for Bangladeshi community.

Documents to bring:

  • Green card, social security card and all passports
  • Residential addresses and job history for the last 5 years
  • Date of your marriage, if you are married
  • Date of your divorce, if you were ever divorced
  • List of all your children, name, date of birth
  • If you have ever been arrested, certificates of disposition for all arrests
  • Additional documents for Fee Waiver application (Please call for more details)
