Soccer Tournament of Bangladesh Sports Council of America

Fifth game of Soccer Tournament of Bangladesh Sports Council of America will be held in Woodside, Queens. The tournament will continue until August 23, 2015. The final game will be held on September 13, 2015. Ten local teams from Queens, Brooklyn and Bronx will compete at the tournament. All team members are of Bangladeshi origin.

Four matches will be held on May 31st:

3:15 pm – Sonar Bangla vs. Bronx United
4:15 pm – Bronx Warriors vs. Brothers Alliance
5:15 pm – ISub FC vs. Jackson Heights BC
6:15 pm – Ozone Park FC vs. Jubo Shangha

The event is free and all are welcome to come. All games will be held at Newtown Athletic Field near Macy’s, Queens Center Mall.

Opening game of Soccer Tournament of  Bangladesh Sports Council of America will be held in Woodside, Queens. The tournament will continue until August 23, 2015. The final game will be held on September 13, 2015. Officials from Bangladesh consulate and Bangladesh representative to UN will open the tournament. Local community leaders, businesspersons, media representatives and sports organizers will be present at the inauguration ceremony.

Bronx Star, Bronx United, Bronx Warrior, Brothers Alliance, ISub FC, Jackson Heights BC, Jubo Shangha, Ozone Park FC, Sandwip Association and Sonar Bangla – these ten local teams from Queens, Brooklyn and Bronx will compete at the tournament. All team members are of Bangladeshi origin.

Bangla New Year Art Contest

Bangla New Year Art Contest in Atlanta to celebrate Boishakhi Festival. This year’s contest theme is ‘Beauty of Bangladesh‘. Apart from the contest, Boishakhi Mela will have cultural program for adults. US-based Bangladeshi artists and artists from Bangladesh will participate. There will be food booths, snack booth, kids food and much more.
